December Final Fantasy XIV Patch Will Finally Unlock Glamours From Class, Job, And Level Restrictions

Final Fantasy XIV Update Patch 7.4 Glamour Class Job

After years and years of begging, Final Fantasy XIV players will finally be able to equip glamours to their Warrior of Light, irrespective of their class, job, or level. This glamour unlock will happen in the upcoming Patch 7.4, titled "Into The Mist," which goes live on December 16.

This news closed out FFXIV director Naoki Yoshida's Live Letter 89, which saw Yoshi-P dive deep into November's Patch 7.38 and December's Patch 7.4. A lot is coming in Patch 7.4, including a new Main Scenario Quest that Yoshi-P says will be "the first step of the new plot line," as noted by PCGamesN. But Yoshi-P saved the biggest and most exciting news about glamours being unlocked for last.

Currently, you can only equip glamours within parameters determined by your character's class, job, or level; starting December 16 with the Into The Mist patch, those parameters will be lifted, meaning you can dress your Bard up as a Dragoon or a Ninja or anything else, and vice versa.
