New Kirby Air Riders Amiibo Announced Alongside King Dedede Amiibo Release Date

Kirby Air Riders Amiibo Sword King Dedede Noir Nintendo Switch 2

Nintendo launched Kirby Air Riders, a sequel to 2003's Kirby Air Ride on GameCube, back in November, and since then, players have been awaiting word on when the previously announced King Dedede (and Tank Star) amiibo would be released. After months of waiting, Nintendo has revealed it will hit stores on July 2, alongside news of two additional Kirby Air Riders amiibo on the way: Sword Kirby (and Dragoon) and Noir Dedede (and Hydra).

Nintendo did not announce prices for these figures, but if they're priced like previously released Kirby Air Riders amiibo, you can expect them to reach into the $40 to $50 range. While the King Dedede amiibo is set to hit stores in July, there's no word on when Sword Kirby and Noir Dedede will be available for purchase.

You can check out all three amiibo in the gallery below:

Kirby Air Riders is available exclusively on Switch 2.

For more, read Game Informer's Kirby Air Riders review, and then check out the latest sales figures for the game after that.
